Long Fireroad climb up from Van Drop off, cycled through a cut with great views of Mulhacen. The highest mountain in Continental Spain. (3478m)
Then fast doubletrack descent to Disused Hydro Electric station and village, and a short sharp climb to great rocky descent.I fell off a couple of times - probably due to lack of concentration and tiredness.
We then had a nasty Carry up to Capileira and great bacon and pork lunch, before a long descent back through Pitres and back to Fondales.
